Meka Srikanth born 23 March 1968, is an Indian actor best known for his work in Telugu cinema. He has appeared in over 120 films. The actor has won state Nandi Awards and Filmfare Awards South. He has appeared in films such as Swarabhishekam which won the 2004 Telugu National Film Award for Best Feature Film.
Meka Srikanth’s other film Virodhi premiered at the 2011 Indian International Film Festival in Panorama section of India. Sri Rama Rajam also had a special screening at the Indian International Film Festival on November 28, 2011. He has also acted in films in other languages such as Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil films.
In 1990, Meka Srikanth enrolled at the Madhu Institute of Film and Television Acting in Hyderabad and completed a one-year acting course. He released his first film People’s Encounter in 1991. Srikanth had minor roles as a villain and side artist early in his career. He became the lead actor in the movie “One by Two”. He has appeared in over 100 Telugu films in lead roles. His first successful film as a lead actor was The Taj Mahal, released in 1995.
