Rapper Cardi B has apologized after being accused of cultural appropriation over her mimicking a Hindu goddess on her new shoot with Reebok.

The ‘WAP’ hitmaker appeared in a new campaign for the sportswear brand wearing a red gown with multiple arms extending from her body. The imagery is similar to that of Hindu goddess ‘Durga’, who is known for strength, protection and war.
Cardi in her response took to her Instagram stories to explain herself, she said;
‘So a lot of my fans are telling me that I’m getting dragged by social media. They saying it’s because of my Reebok shoot and saying that I disrespected like a goddess or something.
