Yes, notwithstanding one’s political party, Samira Bawumia’s beauty is one commodity that brings all Ghanaians on the same tangent in one unison. Her smile, poise and demeanour as a public figure have endeared her to several Ghanaians from all walks of life.
On a few occasions, she has clashed with members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) over political comments in support of her husband, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. She recently descended on the NDC for their inability to solve the infamous dumsor crises when they were in power.
Samira also said NDC government could not implement better policies to deal with the problems that faced the country during their reign, noting that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government has fixed those problems now. ‘The NDC government only looked on as the power crisis, which is popularly known as ‘Dumsor’, destroyed businesses in the country until the NPP government came to political office to fix the Dumsor’, she said.
