Jammin’ with the Cats, Cavaleri self-titled first album, was released on Little Rock/Mushroom Records on April 12, 1993. It was produced by “Buzz” Bidstrup (Riptides, GANGgajang, The Sunnyboys).

Cavaleri was referred to as a “super guitar technician” by Bevan Hannan of The Canberra Times, who also thought the CD “range from shuffle, blues, and jazz to outright rock.”

Cavaleri and Barnes released a cover of the The La De Das single “Gonna See My Baby Tonight” from November 1971 in September 1993.

He employed Teddy Andreadis on keyboards, Curt Bisquera on percussion, Jeff Berlin on bass guitar, Randy Jacobs on guitar, Sweet Pea Atkinson, and Andrew Str ong for his second album, Nathan (1994).

Midway through the 1990s, Cavaleri completed his secondary education, put his musical career on hold, and started working as a bricklayer. On October 18, 2000, Cavaleri gave a performance during Sydney’s 11th Paralympic Games’ Opening Ceremony.

In 2003, he started a band called Dirty Skanks with drummer Col Hatchman, who was formerly in The Screaming Jets. Voluptuosity, an album by Dirty Skanks, was released in 2004 on Jaynie Records.

Dirty Skanks changed their name to Nat Col and the Kings around 2010. While the band is on the road, Cavaleri composes and arranges his own music; by 2012, Toni Bird was providing backup vocals and Kenny Jewell was playing bass guitar.
